AA TO BBA GENERAL BUSINESS

Completion of the following curriculum will satisfy the requirements for an Associate in Arts degree at KCTCS and related baccalaureate AA TO BBA GENERAL BUSINESS degree at Morehead State University. This pathway
meets the general education, pre-major, and program requirements.
The suggested courses in this pathway leads to an Associate and Baccalaureate major. The course
recommendations for the first two years are required for the Baccalaureate degree, but also apply to the
associate degree. The completion of these courses will enable a student to move efficiently into the last
two years of the baccalaureate program.
It is important to discuss revisions to the plan, graduation requirements, entrance requirements, and other
important program requirements with your advisor. Students who complete the associate degree in this pathway are
guaranteed acceptance into the pathway as stated, unless otherwise noted on the pathway.

Pre-Transfer Notes
1. Three credit hours of social and behavior science, heritage, or humanities will also need to be a cultural studies course.
2. Students who complete the computer literacy requirement by other means than taking the CIT 105 course must complete an additional 3 hours of electives.
3. Any Digital Literacy course can be substituted for the CIT 105 course in Semester 1.
4. BAS 160 Intro to Business (Pre-requisite for BAS 282 & BAS 283) or consent of instructor.
5. The General Elective in Semester 3 must be a Natural Science course to meet MoSU General Education requirement.
Additional KCTCS Graduation Requirements
1. | Completion of minimum of 60 credit hours, |
2. | Minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA, |
3. | Minimum of 15 credit hours earned at the institution awarding the degree, |
4. | Cultural studies course, (Refer to the KCTCS catalog.) |
5. | Demonstration of computer/digital literacy, (Refer to the KCTCS catalog.) |
6. | One science course must include a laboratory experience, and |
7. | Two disciplines must be represented in Social & Behavioral Science courses and must be different than those in the Heritage and Humanities categories. |

Program Notes
1. BBA 261, BBA 295, and CIS 211 can be taken at either institution (KCTCS courses would be BAS 267, ENG 203, and CIT 236). If taken at KCTCS, the total number of required MoSU hours would be reduced.
2. Elective courses in semesters 7 and 8 are Business Electives. They consist of any course 300 level or above, for which prerequisites are met and are not used to fulfill any other requirement in the following areas: ACCT, BIS, CIS, ECON, FIN, MKT, MNGT, REAL, including a maximum of 3 hours of a co-operative education.
